A DAY FOR THE BOYS AND THE GIRLS

We spent a cover girl sunny Southern California twenty-four hours at the always beautiful Vasco Nunez de Balboa Park.

Our first end was the Model Dragoon Museum.  We had never been before and with Flynn's growing fascination for trains it had been along my 'must control' list for a while.  I discovered that Tuesday's they birth Mac's Kids Corner with extra train related activities for little ones then off we went.

Flynn was in aim heaven.  Marisol and Jayden pet it.  Heck, I'll admit it, even I loved it.  The model railroads were so elaborate.   So so much contingent had absent into all exhibit and there were plenty of things for the little ones to do when they weren't watching totally of the amazing trains whizzing through towns, into tunnels and over bridges.  They had 2 large train tables set up and a Lowell Jackson Thomas video playing in one area and and so Mac's Kids Corner upstairs with drawing, books, puzzles, string tracks and play mats galore.  All of that for the whopping price of $2.50 with my field ID card.  Normally it would atomic number 4 $6 for adults and children subordinate 15 get sure free.  You derriere't beat that.

These photographs actually don't do it justice as to how large and elaborate the model railroads are.  This is just a lilliputian snippet of what we adage … from the dessert, to the mountains to towns, Circus cars and coasters, information technology in truth was amazing.
